Kiwi Nurse Academy provides paid online educational services for internationally qualified nurses preparing for registration in New Zealand, including:

• IQN Theory exam preparation
• OSCE preparation courses
• Mock exams and quizzes

• Online group or individual training sessions

All services are delivered online unless otherwise stated.

3. Paid Services Only

• All services offered by Kiwi Nurse Academy are paid services.
• There are no free courses or free access, unless explicitly stated.
• Access to services is granted only after successful payment.

4. Accounts and Access

To use our services, you may be required to create an account. You agree that:

• You will provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You will not share your account with others
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Payments and Pricing

• All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless stated otherwise
• Payment must be made in full before access is granted
• Payments are processed via secure third-party providers

We may update pricing at any time. Changes will not affect purchases already completed.

6. Refunds and Adjustments

Due to the nature of digital educational services:

• No refunds are provided once access to a course or service has been granted, except:
  • Where required under New Zealand law, or
  • At our discretion in specific situations

Examples where we may offer adjustments include:

• Duplicate purchases
• Incorrect account usage
• Pricing differences (e.g. discount eligibility)

In such cases, we may provide:

• Partial refunds
• Account transfers
• Payment adjustments

All requests must be submitted promptly with relevant details.

7. Course Access and Availability

• Access to courses is provided for the duration specified at the time of purchase
• Some services may include:
  • Limited attempts
  • Time-bound access
  • Booking windows
  • Capacity limits

We do not guarantee availability of:

• Specific session times
• Preferred tutors
• Specific formats

8. OSCE Stations, Booking Responsibility, and Attendance

OSCE preparation may include live online individual sessions, group sessions, station-based teaching, session requests, and tutor or admin approved bookings. OSCE sessions may be organised by station, topic, or lesson-plan grouping, including sessions that cover multiple OSCE stations or preparation topics.

For any OSCE or other bookable services:

• You are responsible for booking sessions within allowed timeframes
• You are responsible for planning your OSCE preparation schedule, including booking sessions early enough before any examination or registration deadline
• You must check the session date, time, timezone, meeting details, and technical requirements before the session
• You must attend scheduled sessions on time and remain available for the duration of the session
• Session requests are subject to tutor or admin approval and are not confirmed until accepted by Kiwi Nurse Academy
• We do not guarantee availability of any particular tutor, station, topic, date, time, session format, or repeat session

Failure to:

• Book within required timeframes
• Attend scheduled sessions
• Follow booking instructions
• Check and use the correct meeting details
• Maintain suitable internet access, device access, or availability

will not entitle you to refunds, replacement sessions, extensions, or credits, except where required by law.

If you book, join, or receive approval for an OSCE session and do not attend, the missed session may be treated as a valid delivered session and may be counted against any session entitlement, credit, allowance, or package included with your purchase. A missed session includes a session where you do not attend, attend too late for meaningful participation, leave before the session can reasonably be delivered, or are unable to participate because of circumstances within your control.

If you miss an OSCE session, we may restrict your ability to book, join, or request further OSCE sessions online for 14 days from the missed session. The booking system may show the date and time from which online booking becomes available again. You may contact support during this period to discuss your circumstances, but any waiver, replacement session, credit, or adjustment is at our discretion unless required by law.

To manage fair access and avoid duplicate use of limited OSCE teaching capacity, if you have already attended or missed a session covering the same OSCE station or substantially the same station topic, we may refuse or disable a further online request for that station or topic. Kiwi Nurse Academy may decide how stations are grouped, scheduled, and counted for this purpose.

By creating an account, purchasing OSCE services, booking or requesting an OSCE session, joining a session, or continuing to use our services, you acknowledge and agree that OSCE session planning and attendance are your responsibility, and that these attendance, missed-session, station-repeat, and online-booking restriction rules form part of these Terms.

9. Learner Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Your own study planning and preparation
• Your own OSCE session planning, booking, and attendance
• Engaging with course materials
• Following course instructions and guidance

Your results depend on your individual effort and preparation.

10. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Kiwi Nurse Academy provides education and preparation support only. We do not guarantee:

• Passing the IQN Theory exam
• Passing the OSCE
• Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
• Employment outcomes

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including course materials, mock exams, videos, documents, and branding, is owned by Kiwi Nurse Academy or its licensors.

You must not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute content
• Share materials with others
• Resell or commercially use content

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share accounts
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Misuse the platform
• Use the services for unlawful purposes

We may suspend or terminate access if misuse is detected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under:

• The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
• The Fair Trading Act 1986

Where applicable, those rights will prevail.

17. Changes to Services

We may modify, update, or discontinue services, including:

• Course content
• Delivery formats
• Features and structure

These changes will apply going forward and will not affect your legal rights.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

No refunds will be provided in such cases.
